Rwanda Is Giving Education to Everyone Today
Story By IMENA Gislain
Rwanda is working hard to give good education to all children. In today’s world, education is very important, and Rwanda is taking big steps to make sure every child can go to school and learn well.
From free school programs to using technology in class, many things are changing for the better.
One of the biggest changes is free education. The government started programs like Nine-Year Basic Education and Twelve-Year Basic Education. This means that children can study for many years without paying school fees. Many families in the countryside are now sending their children to school, which was not easy in the past.
Technology is also coming into schools. Some schools now have computers, tablets, and internet. These are called smart classrooms. Students are learning how to use digital tools, which helps them get ready for modern jobs. Even some universities are teaching online, so students can study from home.
Still, there are some problems. In some schools, classes are full, books are not enough, and there are not enough trained teachers. But the government and many organizations are working to solve these problems by building more schools and training teachers.
Rwanda is showing that with strong plans and support, education can change lives. The future looks bright for the young people of Rwanda.
